At The Singletrack Factory, we believe that getting customers out on demo bikes is the best way to ensure that you get the right bike for you. When you are looking to spend your hard earned cash on a new ride, you want to be 100% certain that you are making the right choice.
To support this goal, we offer an “In Store” demo program. The “in store” demo program is the best tool we can offer customers. For a fee of $100 per bike, you can take any bike out of our demo fleet for 24 hour demo period. You can do this as many times as you like and at the end of the demo process we apply up to $500 of your demo fees to the purchase of any new bike. You don’t have to demo on back to back days, you can use your demo fee over any (reasonable) period of time.
If you have a busy schedule, reservations are available for demo bikes; this is why we only allow them to be with each customer for 24 hours. This way, everyone who is interested gets a chance to ride.
Another way that we help our customers sort through all of the awesome choices they have is with the “On Dirt” demo program. This is a free demo day hosted by The Singletrack Factory at various trailheads throughout the Front Range. We schedule these well in advance of the actual day and pull all of the required permits so that you can just show up and ride. All we need from you is a credit card and drivers license for collateral while you have the bike out, and to sign a liability waiver. When the opportunity presents itself, we also have the national demo trucks from Yeti, Santa Cruz,, Juliana, Ibis, Felt and Rocky Mountain at our Dirt Demo days. These trucks travel nationally, so they won’t be at every trailhead demo, that’s why we have so many great demo bikes in our shop demo fleet!
In 2014 we started our VIP Demo Program. This offers our customers a more personalized demo experience. The VIP Demo program is a sign up based program we offer our customers that allows them to go for a ride with our staff, providing then with the opportunity to ask questions and make adjustments in real time. As their schedule permits, a representative from one of our bike brands will accompany us. To participate in our VIP program, you call the shop and reserve the bike that you would like to ride for the day. On the day of the demo, we meet at the store, get all of the bikes set up, and load the into our shop trailer. We then proceed to a local trailhead for a ride. We select local trails that offer a variety of terrain so that everyone can have fun and not feel intimidated. After ride, we meet back at the trailer and provide everyone lunch.
We supply Shimano, Crank Brothers, Time and basic flat pedals. If you require something different, please bring your own pedals.
At the end of every season, we sell that years demo fleet. Before the bikes get sold we thoroughly clean, tune, and refurbish the bikes so that the customer gets a great bike at a great price. All of the bikes are discounted below their suggested retail pricing, how much depends on the usage that the particular model had. All of our demo bikes are sold with a custom fitting, which includes; saddle height, saddle fore/aft adjustment, stem height, handlebar ergonomics, and suspension set up.
