bicycle service
We take great pride in our service department. Selling a bike is only one part of the equation, keeping our customers happy and riding is the other. We stock parts for the maintenance and repair of just about any bike. During the riding season our service department can get a little backed up, if you need your bike everyday for commuting or training we do provide service by appointment. To make an appointment we ask that you come to our store so that mechanic can look over your bike, provide you with an accurate estimate for parts and labor and schedule to appropriate amount of time to work on your bike. We have you pay for the labor upfront to secure your place in line. This is also a great option for customers that have a biking trip planned and want to get their ride in tip-top shape before they leave. Give us a call or send us an email to schedule your appointment any time!

Please understand that accurate estimates and troubleshooting are very hard to do over the phone and that coming in is always the best way to get the answers you need. If you simply need an idea of what a specific job will cost you we do have flat rates that we can provide over the phone that are based on our shop hourly rate of $75.00 an hour. Sometimes a job will cost more or less than the flat rate dictates and will be billed accordingly at the discretion of the mechanic.

New Bike Service

Bumper to bumper break in service for 25 hours of ride time – It takes 25 hours for your bike to fully break in. Within this time we will realign brakes, adjust valving on suspension, and adjust for cable stretch. For as long as you own your bike, we are here for any regular maintenance, any rare warranty replacement, and even crash replacements to replace parts that may have been damaged due to rider error.

Custom Wheel Building

One of the best things you can do for yourself and your bike is to install a high quality wheel set. We’re not talking about an off the shelf, pre-built wheel set that uses proprietary spokes and hard to find bearings. We, of course, are referring to a custom built wheel set, built by hand, with components that you choose. Our wheel builders have over 35 years of experience building custom road and mountain bike wheel sets. We will help you determine what kind of wheel best suits your riding style and assist you in picking the best parts for the job. Whether you need an ultralight carbon wheel for XC or road racing or a durable alloy wheel for DH riding we can build the perfect wheels for your bike.

Fitting & Suspension Setup

Some of the most important and often over looked aspects of getting a new bike are fitting and suspension set up. More importantly, correct fitting and suspension set up. With every new bike we sell we offer both services at no additional charge. Denver Rates
